Supreme Court ruling: Update on practical implications for staff, students and visitors to campus accessing toilet facilities

Following the UK Supreme Court ruling that in the Equality Act 2010 鈥榮ex鈥 means biological sex and as such, workplaces need to provide single sex toilet facilities. The EHRC has provided interim guidance that organisations should continue to adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and ensure protection for all protected characteristics, including trans and non-binary people.

Chronotype refers to an individual鈥檚 natural preference for sleep and wake times. It also reflects the time of the day a person best performs their daily activities. Compared to morning chronotypes, individuals of evening chronotype are more likely to develop chronic health issues such as chronic inflammation, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. They also tend to be more prone to infections and less physically active.

The objective of this study is to compare the central nervous system properties of the upper and lower body of individuals who have completed long-term resistance training with a group of recreationally active people

Volunteers Required

The Global Educational Trust charity gives away free books to those in need and in fact to anyone. The books are saved from landfill and 'shops' set up and then with new donations and great volunteers, these spaces become a great community space for as long as we remain there. We are in need or volunteers to help set this up in Loughborough, if interested please contact me.
